HERO is a multi-vineyard / multi-AVA blend with one sole focus. ‘Cabernet Sauvignon sites that have chalky soils.’ This focus adds a memorable concentration and minerality to the wine. We seek vineyards that benefit from cool mornings and warm, sunny afternoons. Sun orientations that optimize the expression of the variety. Vineyard sites In Napa Valley & Sonoma Valley that vary from 150 to 2000 feet above sea level.
WINEMAKER NOTE:
“A mélange of red-fruit flavors, mocha, asphalt, earth, and currant jam. A medium-bodied gem with good concentration that gives way to an elevated, rich, yet soft finish."
